As part of the Lake's policies, and to access all of the features of the community, guests will be required to submit registration information for themselves and their vehicles following their booking confirmation, and prior to their actual stay. This is a quick and easy process which we will walk you through! ARROWHEAD LAKE FEES: Upon arrival, guests are required to stop at the Arrowhead Visitor Center to confirm their vehicle, pick up entry passes, and receive wristbands for all amenities of the community. ***Arrowhead Lake's Administrative Office requires that all visiting renters to the community pay what they refer to as 'Temporary Membership Fees' to help keep the community safe, staffed, and to cover the administrative cost of allowing renters. This is common to gated communities in the Poconos and allows for the upkeep of our excellent amenities. Lakefront home with private dock on the large lake at Arrowhead Lakes, a gated community. Open floor plan with western views from the living room, sunroom, dining area, huge two level deck and hot tub. Five bedrooms and two full baths on two levels. We have four kayaks (3 single and a double), a canoe and a rowboat for outings on the lake or fishing, with life jackets in adult and child sizes. It's a short paddle to Arrowhead's lovely island pool for a swim! Ducks and geese, deer, wild turkeys, and many colorful birds visit us daily. In the winter you can skate or cross country ski across the lake just steps from your door. Jack Frost, Big Boulder and Camelback are within 30 minutes and the area also includes the Delaware Water Gap, several state parks, the Lehigh River, Jim Thorpe, Bushkill Falls, and other attractions. After a fun day relax in the six person hot tub, build a fire, watch a DVD on the 52 inch TV, read in the lakefront sunroom, play a game of pool or foosball or just enjoy the view. You'll have a difficult time deciding whether to watch the sun go down from the sunroom, the deck, the hot tub or the private dock. If you enjoy stargazing you just have to step out onto the deck for a sky dark enough to see the milky way. Wireless broadband internet access included. TV currently gets Netflix, HBOgo and amazon prime plus cable. Cell coverage is good at the house. There are three bedrooms on the top floor (queen in one, full in one, twin and full/twin bunk combo in the third), and a full bath. Downstairs are two more bedrooms (queen in one, two twins in the other), another full bath, a game room with pool table, gas fireplace, TV, DVD, a washer and dryer, and the hot tub room. I keep a supply of firewood and propane for the grill. Just show up and enjoy. It get's better...we have 4.5 bathrooms. No more waiting for a shower to free up after a long day on the lake. The main master suite has amazing views of the lake and access to the deck. The chalet part of the house holds our enormous, rustic family room with amazing views of the lake with access to the huge deck. The family room has raised ceiling with a floor to ceiling fire place for you to cozy up with during those cold, winter nights. We also have a large HDTV with DVD for your entertainment. The kitchen and dining room are open to the family room and are equipped for that feast you prepare for the family. A large, 10 seat dining table is great for everyone to eat together. If you need more seating, the kitchen has a 6 seat counter to keep everyone together. For those that want to sneak away from the action and enjoy the views of the lake or to catch a cat nap we have a large, sun room with access to the huge deck. Wait, there's more...as you head downstairs, you enter the game room. We have a beautiful ball and claw pool table for those sharks out there. If pool is not your game we also have a dart board. While waiting your turn, you can sit at our Oak bar. The other side of the game room has a wood burning stove where you can warm your bones while watching a game on the HDTV. You can access the lake, community pool, and gym. Our cozy getaway is located near many popular area attractions. Make this your Pocono getaway destination! Pet friendly! The space The bedroom with a single bed also has a closet which provides some outdoor recreational equipment such as tennis rackets and balls, a basketball, soccer ball, and water guns. Also located in that bedroom is a small library and a washer/dryer. The second ground floor bedroom has a queen bed and closet with hangers. The loft bedroom has a queen sized bed and room for an air mattress available upon request. There are remotes that control the two ceiling fans and the electric fireplace. The kitchen comes fully stocked for your cooking needs. There is a k-cup coffee maker (or french press for the purists ;) ) , microwave, toaster, etc. Guest access The community offers 3 pools, 4 beaches, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and a gym which you have access to. Fishing Licenses are available to be purchased through Arrowhead Lake’s Member Services Department. Our home is the perfect setting for a Poconos getaway. With its natural beauty, the Poconos is a great destination all year round. Skiing / snowboarding, lake activities, water parks, and amusement parks are just some of the attractions! Entire chalet to yourself. Our home is located in Locust Lake Village that in the summer offers 4 x lakes for guest to enjoy. All with their own beaches, lifeguards, picnic tables, BBQ’s and concession stands. The closest lake that is walking distance from the house is Locust Lake. It’s a easy 5 min walk or a 1 minute drive from the house :) Guests will sleep easily in our beautifully styled chalet with four spacious bedrooms, totaling six beds (home comfortably sleeps 10). Two cozy living spaces, one with a wood burning fireplace, and large seating area with a TV to allow you to enjoy the view of the trees or watching the snow fall. Our second family room has a L shaped couch and 72 inch TV are ideal spots for relaxing (or separating the adult area from the kids area lol!). Both TV’s are connected to Apple TV with Netflix, HBO GO, Hulu, Amazon and many more. Free wifi is available throughout the house. There is a washer and dryer along with tons of towels. The home's 2 x full bathrooms are stocked with all the necessary products and toiletries so don't worry if you forget something at home. In the backyard, roast marshmallows over the firepit, or take an afternoon nap on the hammock. We take cooking seriously! The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and a farm sink. It is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, gadgets and utensils needed for cooking a fabulous meal. There is a Nespresso machine (feel free to bring your preferred pods) and a drip coffee machine with complementary coffee. The chalet is perfect for small get together's and low key weekend getaways but NOT A PARTY HOUSE. Pets! We love them! We have two German Shepard’s of our own we often take up there. To help your pets enjoy the outdoors we do have a small baby gate on our deck to allow for your pets to stay enclosed if out there. Please ensure that you keep your pets off the couches/beds, and please pick up after them once they have been to the bathroom. Lastly, please sure all dogs are kept on a lead if you decide to take them for a walk. There are many deers and other wildlife around the community that will encourage them to take a good run to a far away place if they are not on them :)
